Terms of Service

The rules of using Swiftlee — short, fair, and human.

Last updated: June 14, 2026. Operated by Swiftlee LLC.

What Swiftlee is

Swiftlee is a bilingual phone-answering service. We provide real receptionists, AI-assisted call handling, and a portal for managing your calls, scripts, and follow-ups. By using Swiftlee, you agree to these terms.

Your account

  • You’re responsible for the activity on your account.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential. Don’t share them.
  • You must be authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of any business you sign up.
  • You must be 18 or older.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Swiftlee to:

  • Send unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or harassing content.
  • Violate other people’s privacy or intellectual property rights.
  • Conduct illegal businesses (fraud, scams, prohibited industries).
  • Attempt to break our security, scrape our systems, or interfere with other customers’ use of the service.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with refunds prorated for the unused portion of your billing period.

SMS messaging terms

If you opt in to receive SMS messages from Swiftlee:

  • You’re consenting to receive transactional and informational messages related to your account, appointments, callbacks, and any conversations you’ve had with our team.
  • Message frequency varies — typically 0 to 10 messages per week, depending on your call volume and account activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier’s plan.
  • To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any SMS from us. You’ll receive one confirmation message and then no further messages will be sent to that number.
  • For help, reply HELP to any SMS, or email support@getswiftlee.com.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Your phone number and SMS opt-in information will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Billing

  • Pricing is published on our pricing page; your specific plan + add-ons are itemized on each invoice.
  • Billing is monthly in advance, charged automatically to the payment method on file.
  • You can cancel anytime from the portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods unless we’ve materially failed to deliver the service.
  • Per-call or per-minute overage usage is invoiced at the end of the billing period.

Recordings + transcripts

When you enable call recording, you’re responsible for making sure the recording complies with the laws of the jurisdictions involved (e.g., two-party consent states like California). We provide tooling — you provide the legal judgment. Our AI greeting includes a recording disclosure by default when recording is on.

Service availability

We target 99.9% uptime. We’re not liable for outages caused by our upstream providers (Telnyx, Vapi, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel), force majeure, or your own network issues. If we have a sustained outage, we’ll issue service credits proportional to the impact.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Swiftlee’s liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We’re not liable for lost profits, incidental damages, or consequential damages.

Changes

We can update these terms; we’ll email account holders for material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Swiftlee after the effective date is acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
