Built for clinics like

A missed call is a patient who booked somewhere else. Recepta picks up every time.

Why clinics choose Recepta

Bilingual, HIPAA-aware,
and never a dead end.

Most AI receptionists are English-only and hang up when they get stuck. Recepta speaks both languages your patients speak, follows the rules a clinic has to follow, and hands the hard calls to a real person.

English and Spanish on the same call

The receptionist opens in the language your line is set to and switches the moment the patient does. No transfer, no second number, no upcharge. Spanish-speaking patients get the same experience as everyone else.

HIPAA mode from the first call

Minimum-necessary intake, no symptoms or diagnoses solicited, PHI kept out of email and SMS, portal idle logout, and a BAA available. Clinic accounts start this way; nobody has to remember to turn it on.

A real human when it matters

Upset patient, complicated booking, urgent situation: the call escalates to a trained bilingual agent, not voicemail. You see the AI part and the human part in one transcript.

What it does

Everything a front desk does on the phone.

Answers, books, captures and triages — by rules you write during setup. Nothing clinical, ever.

Books and confirms appointments

Follows your scheduling rules to book, reschedule and take requests. Confirmations go out by SMS, and every booking lands in your portal and your calendar.

Captures intake your way

Name, date of birth, callback number, insurance, reason in brief. Ask new patients to send x-rays or photos ahead of the consultation. Fields are yours to define.

Knows what you offer — and what you don't

A caller asking for a procedure you don't do is told so plainly and offered a message, and the request is logged. You see what patients are calling you for that you're turning away.

How it works

Live in under an hour.

No software to install at the clinic. Your line stays your line.

1

Tell us how your clinic runs

Procedures you offer, hours, insurance, languages, emergency rules, and what the receptionist must never say. Clinic templates fill in the HIPAA defaults.

2

Forward your line

We provision a US number (and a Mexican one if you need it). Forward your clinic line always, after hours, or when busy.

3

Watch the calls land

Every call shows up in your portal with a recording, transcript, intake fields and what the patient asked for. Bookings and messages reach your front desk in real time.

Pricing

You know what you'll pay. Cancel anytime. Compare to a bilingual front-desk hire at $3,000–5,000 a month, or an English-only answering service that transfers your Spanish speakers.

FAQ

Questions clinics ask.

Is Recepta a separate product from Swiftlee?

No. Recepta is Swiftlee Front Desk configured for clinics: HIPAA mode on from day one, clinic intake templates, triage rules you define, and the same bilingual AI with human backup. Same portal, same pricing, same team.

Does the AI give medical advice or discuss treatment?

Never. It answers from the information you give it — procedures you offer, hours, insurance, what to bring — and takes a message for anything clinical. Prices and candidacy are only discussed if you publish them; otherwise the caller is told your office will confirm at consultation.

What happens in an emergency call?

You define the emergency rules. The default for medical lines is to direct the caller to 911 or the nearest emergency room and alert your on-call contact. For dental, severe swelling that affects breathing goes straight to the ER instruction.

Do you sign a BAA?

Yes, a Business Associate Agreement is available on plans that include it. HIPAA mode is on by default for every clinic account: minimum-necessary intake, PHI kept out of notification emails and SMS, and a 15-minute idle logout on the portal.

Our patients call from the US but the clinic is in Mexico. Does that work?

Yes. You get a US phone number patients can call and text at no international cost, answered in English or Spanish with no transfer. Your existing clinic line stays as it is; calls simply forward to the Swiftlee number.

What if a caller asks for a procedure we don't offer?

The receptionist tells them plainly that your clinic does not offer it, takes their name and number so your office can suggest where to go, and logs what they asked for. You see those requests in your portal, so you know what patients are calling you for that you're turning away.

What does the human backup do?

When the AI hits something it should not handle alone — an upset patient, a complicated booking, an urgent situation — the call escalates to a trained bilingual agent, not voicemail. You see both parts of the call in one transcript.

How long does setup take?

Under an hour. You tell us your procedures, hours, insurance, emergency rules and what the AI must never say. We provision your number, you forward your line, and the first calls land in your portal the same day.
